Old Farm Finds

While I was at the farm site taking photos of the white barn I showed you in my last post I spied this old green Dodge truck.

It was sitting next to the barn I haven't showed you yet.

I also saw what looks like the wheels from an old wagon.
I edited it with Yester-color  in Picmonkey for a vintage look.

I like finding old trucks, cars, tractors and farm equipment.  Do you?

Wander on over to see all things rural.

Rurality Blog Hop #12

Thanks for stopping.  Have a great evening and I'll see you next time.

I like the treatment of your photo on the wagon wheels. And that truck looks like it would start right up and drive off down the lane.

Can you believe it snowed up here again today? Didn't last. Just the fact that it snowed yet again!

Always love seeing these vintage pieces -- much of it is being sold for scrap these days and is fairly scarce. Great edits Barb!

Hope you are well, Barb...it's been awhile since I've been out of my studio. Weddings, weddings, weddings... :) If you look at my blog you'll see what I've created for a wedding venue in Hope, NJ. It took me forever to get it together but I have a wonderful team healping me and we pulled it off.
Hope you're doing well. :)

I love finding old farm equipment whether it is a field or used as yard art I know it was well used on a farm at one time.

BTW: I am glad you got to see Snoqualmie Falls and please dig out that picture. In the early spring or after a huge rain it is always roaring. MB

Love that white barn with the cupola. Bob and I saw a barn a few weeks ago that had 4 lightning rods on it with the glass balls...an unusual find nowadays around here. Wish I had my camera. Oh the stories that Dodge truck could tell you if it could. Janice

dearest Barb,
That great truck (never heard of the wagon wheels) looks really awesome; must have worked a lot. The picture of wheels from an old wagon edited with yester-color is so appropriate♡♡♡
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

Very cool old truck!! I have done several entries on rusty old rides. They fascinate me, I'm not sure why!!

Have a great weekend!!

Nice old truck! If we found an old truck, hubby would be out checking it out more closely. Actually, any old car or truck. We've made as many drive-backs to check out an old vehicle as we do to check out old barns.

You and I would have as much fun our and about as I had with Beth last week walking the street of Waynesboro. These are the vintage items for which I am always searching. Adore the old pickup. They are my passion. genie

It must've been a reliable truck before. Although it seems like it was abandoned not many years ago, don't you think? The coat was still good and not even chipping. I hope someone would consider restoring it, even for the sake of display or preservation. Lucky you find this truck and wagon! Ava@Elite Toyota
