What the heck's going on? It's April 9th.
The blackbirds are eating all the bird seed!
The sparrows and the dark eyed juncos are eating under the feeder
Along came Mr. Squirrel and scared the birds away
Digging for bird seed under the snow
Waiting for Mr. Squirrel to leave
Guess he's had enough
And the little birdies returned
It's not snowing as much now, but I just heard we could get 6 to 12 inches Wednesday night and Thursday.
I guess it's our turn here in Southern Minnesota because we missed most of the snow that Northern Minnesota has gotten all winter. We do need the moisture so hope it melts soon!
Well I better get back to my baking and cleaning...just in case.
Have a great day. See you next time
Barb
p..s. I did visit most of you early this morning, but did not take time to comment.

oh, my! quite the late snow storm! glad you're feeding the birds and squirrels as they need the help!
good luck w/ hosting tomorrow!
The snow you're getting is headed our way Friday and Saturday. I'm thinking it will go farther south from us and miss us. I hope. We had an inch of snow here today which will melt tomorrow. It's a poor farmer's fertilizer so I don't mind. I hope your circle group can get together. Just freeze your dessert if you have to cancel. ;) Blessings, Pamela
I just saw this on my reader - looks like the middle of winter at your place. My goodness. We are close to 80 degrees here today.
I hope it melts soon and hope you don't get what's predicted.
Hope your hosting duties go well.
Gorgeous photos! Spring needs to spring tho! We are supposed to get a huge rain storm tonight.
I hope you don't get too much snow and get to have your group over. The photos of the birds and squirrel fueling up in the snow are great!
Boy oh boy you did get a bunch of snow. Good story telling. Silly squirrel--haha!! We just got tons of rain and the weekend was the wettest on record. PHooey!!! MB
Great photos! So far it's stayed rain here...and that's just fine with me...
Oh no... Those poor little birds. I really am hoping this isn't coming my way. I hoping for nicer weather for you!
Oh no, and I know that snow will be heading our way. We've had rain all day here.
Oh dear...I am sure is the last thing you are wanting right now.
Love the birdies in the snow...don't feel bad Barb, we are suppose to have more snow tomorrow night into the weekend. Yuk. Janice ps...love the foggy barn pic. We saw a freighter in the fog tonight.
I am so sorry you got more snow. I am wanting it to be spring for all of us.
Snowing here in CO, too. A red-headed woodpecker flew against my window and was stunned. I think he was wondering when spring is coming!
Wow - and add another reason we left the midwest to live on the west coast near the ocean. We get a lot of rain but we don't have to shovel rain. Hope your group gets to come in spite of the snow. Great photos.
we are supposed to have a cold front come through tonight and the low tomorrow night is supposed to be in the 30's. We'll see....
Good grief! I can't believe you're getting that much snow! Our temp's were in the 80's today, although we're getting a big cool down for the weekend. Probably part of the storm that's supposed to dump snow on you. The snow does make for beautiful shots!
Spring may be just around the corner still Barb; well you'd jolly well hope so! Enjoyed your photos very much; enjoy your day tomorrow whatever it may bring. I did a 'friends visiting' day today ...weather was super for it
looks so cold. brr!!
84 degrees here today. ( :
You got snow..good for you..glad to send it that way for a change! :)
I think spring has finally come to the jersey shore!! These are beautiful barb, even if it is snow in April!!
