While I was out driving in the fog on Monday, I spied these 2 Canada Geese swimming in a pond. I don't get wildlife photos very often so I just kept snapping away.
I like the ripples and reflections they make.

Sorry about all the snow......
Excellent shots of the Honkers. The fog adds a mystic. Love the reflections. MB
Love the fog and reflections! Very nice!
We're not getting snow like you are, but starting tonight into tomorrow we're supposed to have strong thunderstorms with hail and wind. Much cooler temperatures, too.
wow! truly beautiful! ethereal!
stay safe!
The color, the reflections, the softness the fog gives it - lovely shots Barb!
I can't imagine that much snow here in April.
Stay in and keep warm!
i love all these foggy shots. so nice. very mysterious indeed. ( :
I love the dreamy quality of these photos. These are very nice, Barb!
These are just stunning photos Barb. I think the fog really added to them and the reflections are great! I hope the storm subsides and doesn't bring what they are forecasting. It's coming our way on Friday night with some snow. ;(
Great shots! I like them in the fog, it makes the photos look dreamy!
Wonderful photos, Barb. Very peaceful. Hope warmer weather is headed you way soon!

'days off' are kind of a relief sometimes aren't they? Lovely your misty photos too; certainly give one a feel for quite how cold it is right now for you
Pretty shots!
Lovely foggy photos.
Love the geese. And, Girl, you need to move. It's 80 degrees here today and already too humid. But, we're having storms tomorrow, so we might get blown away. Weather in the south is temper-mental.
I love your photos - and love the geese .....from afar! Every so often they make a home beside one of our ponds, and it's like having a pack of dogs come to visit. They begin to honk at daybreak, and make a mess of our paths and grass....but they are beautiful in flight and to see as they care for their young.
Happy snaps...love your results. My R: http://lore-eleven.blogspot.com/2013/04/barn-light.html
Beautiful Barb. Love fog shots.
Love, love, love these soft "atmospheric" shots that are not strongly colored. The geese are starting to come back to the area. Seeing some early morning chevrons.
Know you all are winter weary, but it could last a bit long for my taste.
Beautiful nature photography of some of nature's gems ~ ^_^
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Beautiful shots of the geese! I really love Canada Geese. They have a lovely way about them. Very dignified. Nice photos in the fog. xx
love your fun photos! the fog adds an amazing touch.
snow?! we hit 75today in PA!
Nice shots! I love the fog- it makes everything look so mysterious.
Canada Geese? WE have 2 landed on our farm today. Well traveled birds!
The fog gives a nice quiet effect to the photos.
I have a post ready to go about me complaining about the weather... but I feel guilty now after what you received.
Love the Canadas in the fog. Lovely.
I thought spring was here, but today is cold and rainy. I hope your fog goes away soon!
Puxa, quanto FOG! Lindas fotos! beijos, chica
Wonderful shots of these geese. Sorry about all of that snow. Do stay safe!
I just love these geese....when I was a kid, I hardly ever saw one fly over, much less get as close to them as we do now.
Absolutely lovely photos in the fog. It softens the photos. : )
Great photos in the fog.
I love the softness fog adds to photos.
Hi there - these are great - and all the better for being "real fog" rather than some digital effect! Not everyday is bright and sunny, so neither should every picture!
Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW.

WoW, these images are just so special. i don't think i would have taken my camera out. i would not have seen the beauty of the moment that you saw here!!
bummer, about the snow!!
Fabulous fog pictures! So atmospheric.
Oh Barb those are such cool photos. I would never consider a fog shot. See you teach me stuff all the time. Thank you for saying my legs are ok if white because the shape is what counts. My Momma had awesome legs and figure. I eat too much to have her figure. hahahahaha. But I have her legs for some crazy reason; perhaps all the dance training I had as a kid? HAVE A MARVELOUS DAY GIRLFRIEND.
These photos are great, Barb!
It's snowing here right now. Hmmm. So far it's not sticking but it does feel COLD!
Very serene photos.
Stay safe in your weather.
Love your foggy photos! We don't have snow, but it sure is cold today. I think Spring is a tad confused this year.
Hi Barb, Love these pics and the fog make them look so calm.
Those ripples in the water look so peaceful.
What a wonderful time to be out and take pics.
Your work is amazing and just gets better and better my friend.
Wishing you springtime soon.
Hugs, CM
I love fog shots! I'm like that too, I just snap away and end up with LOTS of shots. So far we've only had rain, crossing my fingers the snow stays away.
i'm so sorry bout all the snow...
beautiful geese captures =)
These are beautiful, Barb!
Barb...I would have been snapping, too. They looks so contented as they rest from their travels. genie
Great series of photos Barb! Love the fog!!!
Oh BEAUTIFUL photos of those Canada Geese being in Canada I like them:)\I think Spring has gotten lost in it's flight here. :) B
Fog makes everything moody and magical... love those shots... Thank you for sharing on 'Rurality Blog Hop #10!'
Beautiful photo's and despite the fog very clear.
Thank you for your good wishes.
great foggy shots..you have open water..looks good:)
Very nice photographs, Barb. I think my favorite is the last one. The reflection is exquisite.
They are pretty shots of the geese in the fog. Will the snow and ice ever end? I wish you some nice sunny weather, have a great evening.
I guess I better stop complaining about our cool down starting tomorrow. I love your photos. Stay safe. xo Laura
We haven't got spring time yet, either. (notice no photos of me outdoors yet) This morning it was 27 degrees: TWENTY SEVEN! OMyGosh! In a week it is forecast-ed to be 77 for the high. Weird dang weather, anyway! My bright colors might be scaring off springtime, ya think?
What great pictures! We have geese just starting to nest on our pond here in Alberta. Thanks for sharing!
