Green Plants for Green Day

Remember this plant I showed you last week.  I found out it is a Zulu Wonder.  A South African plant Plectranthus  Ciliatus.
My plant.

My daughter's plant.  Just beginning to bloom

More of my green plants that I am overwintering in the house

Ivy that I pulled out of the my window boxes and planted in this pot.  I'm not sure what is growing in the center.  Weeds I think.  I've pulled them out now.

An asparagus fern

And a mixed planter of Wandering Jew, Ivy and a Spike Plant.

Will see how many of these I can keep alive this winter.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend.  Until next time

Nice selection of house plants. I have a few. I kill them, my husband doesn't so he gets to keep them watered etc. I enjoy them.

Yes, Mary is a great sister. She used to say all the time when we were growing up. "Ah, Renae, my BEST sister." and I would say to myself, "ya, I am your only sister?"

She is great and I'm glad so many of you guys wished her well on her Birthday. yay!

Pretty plants! I like the asparagus fern. I have a hard time with indoor plants, though!

Hi.
Love that you are taking the time to try and winter over your plants.

Years ago, I always had house plants... now-a-days, they are the silk variety.

Smiles :)

I hope they all survive the winter. I have had varying luck with overwintering plants, but it is always fun to enjoy them as long as they last.

Hugs,
Laura

Very good looking plants! I'm not an expert on this stuff, but you obviously know what you're doing.

Nice looking plants! I usually don't have much luck with overwintering but last year two fuchsia plants survived in our unheated garage.

Love it. I definitely do not have a green thumb so I always admire others who do.
Happy Green Day.
XOXO's,
Marcia

Barb, I do believe you have a green thumb. Your plants are so lush and gorgeous. I know I am going to try and bring a few inside for the winter. We still have the AC on but as it gets colder outside I will need bringing a few I want to keep inside. It does not always work for me.
Love the ladder with the fern too.
