Beauty of a Barn

It was a very busy Thanksgiving and weekend.  I was on the go for 4 days and today I am trying to catch up and rest up.  Sorry I haven't gotten around to visit much but will try to catch up in the next few days.

This beauty of a barn is located on a farm site and has been in the same family for about 100 years.  The family that lives here does not farm the land but they do a beautiful job of keeping up the place.

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago.  I love the shadows of the trees on the side of the barn and the silo.

Thanks for stopping and have a great week!

Until next time

Let me know when you've figured out how to rest AND catch up. I noticed the branch in front of the barn with the 2 high windows gives the barn a smiling face. The photo quality is stunning. enJOYed!

Barb! hi! Those shadows on the nice clean barn are so pretty aren't they? Very great work here, very great. I love seeing it so well cared for, too.

Love these Barb!
The barn is in excellent shape and the well manicured landscaping makes this a beautiful place.
Shows great pride in ownership.

I haven't blogged in a week. The last of my family went home yesterday and about all I can do is rest. :)

I think the word "manicured" would well describe this place!

The end of the barn looks like it is smiling in one photo. It really is wonderful how the shadow of the tree is so well displayed on the silo. Well done, Barb! I hope your week is going well for you and that your Thanksgiving was a lovely one.

So beautiful! I see a lot of red barns, so it's nice to see a white one every once in a while.

So neat and lovely! Love the the last pic the best!

Oh yes...I agree very well taken care of farm and barn. So many barns around here have so much junk around them, it is hard to take a good picture. Nice captures!!

This is such a beautiful farm. You can see they put a lot of love into keeping it in top notch shape.

Just love it when your camera "uncovers" something like an unexpected color or--in your case--these really strong tree "shadows" on something as unusual as this barn/silo.

Know what you mean about getting back in the post-Thanksgiving groove. Have lots of posts planned but slow about getting them organized and online. And the seasonal madness continues!

The shadows on the side of the barn are great, but I was captivated by the smiley face in the first photo - a couple of windows, then a branch making a crooked smile...
