Milk weeds

These pictures are a little dark and dreary.  Maybe that is my mood today.  It is cold and rainy here but that is a good thing because we need the rain so bad.

I saw the pulmonary doctor on Tuesday.  He didn't have an answer for my shortness of breath, other than he thinks it is obstructive.  He wants to see the scan I had after my thyroid cancer surgery a year ago.  He said that can sometimes cause obstruction in the airways of the neck.  I also have slight sleep apnea and he wants me to try the CPAP to see if that helps.

I won't be posting and commenting as much as I have to get caught up on things around here.  Plus I took a water color painting class and want to do some of that. I also have several pieces of furniture I want to paint. So if you don't see me around as much it is not because I've forgotten you.  I just have a lot I want to do.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day.
I'll be around as much as possible.

Barb

That last picture is really pretty!
Hope the CPAP is helpful for you. I know a few people who say it's made a huge difference.

I have been using a c-pap for 7 months. It was hard to get used to but it does help.

The milkweed pics are beautiful.

Painting furniture takes me forever. I hope you are better at it than I am. I am working on a coffee table now and it is taking a long time to poly it. Please work in a well ventilated area as it affects my breathing. I hope the CPAP helps. The milkweed is beautiful.

Hi Barb,
Have fun with your water color class. Creating new things always perks me up.

A lot of people swear by Cpap machines. I hope it helps you, too.

Hpe you get to feeling better soon. My hubby has a cpap machine..make him sleep better at nights. These milkweed remind of my grandparents farms when the swallowtail butterflies would flutter all around them. Have fun at your painting class! Take care, Janice

crazy great photos here, Barb! Amazing.

Hey, we googled the pond and learned it is a city reservoir that has a foot path to it. Wonderful news!

My husband's birthday is tomorrow (10-19) and we are planning to go there. yay!

Beautiful pictures! your water color class sounds wonderful.

I hope your health gets better. I know constant doctors appointments can be so miserable. I'm sure all will be well soon. :)

do what has to be done; your blog friends all understand. We will see you when you hit POST again Barb. Take care and enjoy your projects. Similar here with juggling erratic watering system needing overhaul, weeding etc. during the hot weather. It's nice to 'achieve' out there too though

I adore those Milky Weeds you took..

As a kid. They were a must in my

walk in the fields.

Our teacher took us on field

trips and we learned all about

the beauty of milk weeds and

flower weeds. Queen Ann Lace, yellow golden Rod, sneeze, sneeze.

Except some time it was annoing

if the open concept of Milk

weed them flew

on our sweaters or pants. Just

like burs. Remember those

clinging on your clothes through

the field. Nasty.

I rather enjoy this today to look

at them. Brings back my

childhood memories.

Thanks. Hope your feeling better

soon.

Good luck Barb with your medical condition. Hope there is a simple solution. enJOYed the Milk Weed. They can be a frustration with their seeds so easy to spread, but yet they seem to me to be one of the most artistic pieces of nature.
