Big Red

One of my daughters and her husband live on a farm site of 10 or 15 acres.  I got together with her and 2 of my other daughters on Saturday.  We went shopping while the guys hunted pheasants.  There is this big barn on their place.  I haven't showed pictures before because I couldn't find them in my archives.

I love this big cupola.

I'm linking this to Barn Charm 109

Several of you had asked about the significance of the Barn Quilts.  Here is a link that explains that.

I'm sorry I didn't get around to visiting and commenting much last week.  It was a very busy week.  I spent 2 days in the Twin Cities for the funeral.  Thanks  to all of you that sent prayers.  They were very much appreciated and were felt.

Thinking of all of you on the East Coast and stay safe!

Until next time
Barb

How cool that your daughter has this fabulous barn on her property. I remember seeing barn quilts as a child here in Michigan. I will have to try to ask my mom where they were located. Thanks for sharing. Take care, janice

The cupola is quite large.
Do they farm or use the barn for something else?

Such big cupola, definitely a landmark. Know why quilt is putting on the wall now. What a great idea of direction. Keeping the quilt is much better than painting for my eyes ~.~
