Playing with my camera

While I was out playing with my new camera the other day I took this picture.  Can you see the barn?   It's just a spect in the center of the horizon.

I zoomed in a ways and this is what I got.

I zoomed in all the way and this is what I got.  I have no idea how far away that barn was.  It's not the best photo, but it is a lot closer than I could get with my old camera.  With the old camera I probably wouldn't have seen much difference from the first shot.

I'm lovin' it!

Have a great week.

See you tomorrow with another barn for Barn Charm.

Barb

Wow, I have camera envy! If I zoomed like that on mine it would fuzz out like crazy!

I love playing around with my camera too, but I think you have a MUCH better camera than I do. I can't imagine a zoom that good... great photographs Barb!

makes you feel good that the new camera is showing its worth by doing things a bit better than your old faithful. What one did you get Barb? And what mm lens were you using for these shots. Have fun with it and I look forward to where it takes you. Camera seem to have a mind of their own and like some strange magnetism that takes us places we mightn't have gone without them

Looks like you make a good decision on that new camera purchase. I can't zoom in like that with my Cannon Rebel without a long lens.

Gorgeous views! Congrats on your new camera! It definitely has quite the zoom range. Many of the new ones have quite the focal length.
