Nice find- you gotta wonder why they have the great barn and the John Deere has to sit outside!

Barb, you're really deceloping an eye for photo editing! You keep getting better and better. I love the textured corrugated metal behind the tractor... but I REALLY love the black and white image!! WOW!

Lovely photos of the barn, Barb. It looks like you caught it as night was falling. I really must go out on a barn hunt one day (there are plenty around).

That last shot looks very vintage! I couldn't help but notice the ladder going up the side of the silo--that's way up there! Great shot!

It's so nice to meet and follow you via a comment you left on Linda's blog.

One of my favourite things to do is to pack up my sketching supplies and art journal..and go out driving with my hubby until we spot a picturesque barn on some country road. We pull over...get out our books and spend an hour or so drawing out what we see. It's what we do on dates.

You just made me want to book another date sometime soon....it's been a while. Thanks for the inspiration. What a beautiful barn scene you've shared. I grew up on a farm...so I suppose that barns will always have a big hold on my creative little heart.

Stop by sometime if you wish. I'd love to have you visit.

You have so many beautiful barns in your area, Barb. This is a good'n. :)

Nice! The barn reminds me of the one at my husband's parents place. They were dairy farmers and loaded it with hay every year. Their silo had to be torn down though as it became unsafe. Your last shot in B/W looks wonderful!
