Orange and Gold

While out for an evening drive a week or so ago I took this shot of the farm site with the windmill backed by the orange sky.

Leaves on my Maple tree

My lawn yesterday

My lawn today.  What a difference a day makes in Minnesota.

We had about 4 inches of snow overnight.  I have to dig out my boots and go out and shovel snow and leaves.

I did get the living room cleaned.  Now I am pricing Christmas items and decorating my space at the lighting store.  I'll show you a photo when I get done decorating.

I hope you are all having a great week and I'll see you next time!

Gorgeous colors! Your snow slipped up on me. But, I guess it is time for that up where you live. It sure looks cold to me!

I like all the golden photos,Barb, especially the first one. You'd think the snow would hold off until all the leaves had fallen, but Mother Nature dances to her own tune.

It is way too early for snow. Please keep it there.

That opening shot is just gorgeous. I have to admit I had to go back and reread when I got to the snow shot...I can't believe you are already having snow..It seems the winter is creeping up alittle too fast....

Oh, come on Barb -- not leaves and snow! Leave it for another day. :)

Wow, what a glorious sky!
We are expecting rain tonight so hubby and I raked and chopped up leaves with the mower this afternoon.
I'm glad it's rain coming my way. Not ready for any snow; but I must say that shot of the leaves on top is lovely though.
Good to see a post Barb!

That top photo brings back memories of Amish farms in rural PA where I grew up. Fabulous sky! Welcome to white - it's been snowing her win Breckenridge all week.

Lovely autumn colour, and that sky is fabulous. I really think cold weather sunsets have great colours!

I love that beautiful sky! And the snow....oh, I'm so not ready for snow! Neat shot, tho, with the snow and pretty leaves. Our pretty fall leaves are falling and fading fast. Every day you can see a change.

enjoyed your lovely photos Barb' and love your header photos too. I try and reconcile that the 'extra work' outdoors is good ole' exercise. We sometimes would prefer to choose which form of exercise to take on though rather than be pushed into it...

Love that sunset farm shot! Yup, a day can make a huge difference! Because we had such an extended time waiting for snow we managed to get our leaves cleaned up before the snow. There's been times when we haven't though, and then they wait for you in the spring.

That first shot especially, is so gorgeous. I just love a windmill and against that golden sky it's perfect. I'm glad our snow didn't stay, but it's coming back and this time I doubt we'll be so lucky. :-)

The sunset is amazzzing and my favorite photo of all is the bottom one with the yellow leaves still hanging on for dear life. Just BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Love the Autumn colors, especially the first one.
It is cold enough to snow here in northeast Mississippi, but none yet. The long range forecast for our area is low 30s at night and high 50s daytime. Our normal winter weather is cold, cold rain, with sleet sometimes mixed in. And then we have beautiful sunny days that almost feel warm!
Have a wonderful week-end!
