The roof does look to be in poor shape, but the barn is very cool! I can't tell if the roof was originally green or if that's just moss or lichen growing on the shingles.
Dearest Barb, As we cannot see these barns, I really enjoy your picture♡♡♡ I wonder how old it is, love the moss on the roof which expresses signs of its age(^_^)v And love the angle you chose.
PS> I'm so sorry for my belated comment. And I really am grateful for your sweet comment for me. I'm doing my best, my friend.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Sometimes you find the best things on those "roads less traveled!" It's a beautiful old barn and photo. Thanks, Barb, for your prayers and good wishes on my recent health scare. Yes, I was definitely relieved with the results!! Hugs, Cindy
What a neat barn. I think barns in any shape are always beautiful - they speak of time gone by and history. They always seem like they would have lots of stories to tell. I know when we were kids we played in my Grandpa's barn and have such wonderful childhood memories. Beautiful photo. Cindy

wow, that roof could use some TLC. what character though. ( :
This one has a bit of everything: moss, rust, chippiness and great charm. Lovely old beauty!
This is a beautiful, quaint old barn, Barb! You captured it beautifully!
A faded beauty!
Beautiful. I hope someone can keep it up to just the right state to maintain the character.
A metal roof would do much to start preserving this amazing old barn.
I love the moss all over the roof. That's a lovely find, Barb.
Nice find...very rustic
What a classic beauty!
So glad you got a photo of that barn while it is still standing. They're all soon going to be missing from the landscape.
It should be repaired, but it's so beautiful the way it is too, isn't it?
poor thing. just beautiful, though.
Adoro ver estas casas antigas no campo! E se pudesse adaptar para poder habitar lá, óptimo. Abraço Ailime
Excellent shot. Wonderful old barn. It looks like someone is around . MB
The barn is probably older than the trees. Lovely shot.

What a pretty setting, surrounded with the trees in the background.
I love those roads less traveled!!
It's a pretty barn even in it's advanced age. It makes me sad to see so many barns being neglected.
Oh I do like that barn and that roof with all that moss on top is perfect.
Love it :)
I do love the old barns - wish I could gather them all up and keep them safe.
That roof does look in pretty bad shape. Almost like it could snap off at any moment! But it's still beautiful :)
Very green - even on the roof!
..."and that made all the difference."
Thanks for you compliment to my doggie. (hug)
I just love all those little windows! That's a keeper!

The barns are beautiful out your way, even if they are in rough shape!
Sad to see barns go down, but the moss sure did make a very nice shot to enJOY.
