While trying to find a rural church I had heard about, I found this one but not the one I was looking for. This is a pretty little one that is no longer in use. I'll have to make another trip to find the original one I was looking for.
I love these tiny, old, little churches in the country. There's a lot of them here in Maine too and it's so sad to see them sitting empty. A lot of people have bought them and restored them into living quarters and they really do make beautiful homes. Just gotta' have the bank roll to do the restoration. Beautiful photo Barb.
wow, I love the yellow door. is that not the greatest. trying to recall if I have ever seen a yellowed door church before?? so fun!
have a great week. so glad you linked up with us at Inspired Sunday. so love seeing all of them that every one continues to find out the world. so different. ( :
Someone sure is keeping the grounds clean really nice not to be in use. Next to barns, old churches are the next most photographic. Thanks for sharing.
What a charming little church. I love the way you shot this one - there's something about the way the path leads straight towards it that leads my eye right into the church. Beautiful!

What a pretty little church. I love seeing these old buildings.
So sad that it isn't in use! I hope somehow that it is saved from neglect.

Sad it's not being used as a church anymore, but it would make a cute house! Good luck finding the other one! Have a nice week! Twyla
I hope this will be saved. So glad you found this one. Looks like an addition on the right side.

very charming; I love the old weather-boards as we call them ... what do you call it?
It is a pretty church. It's a sad sign of the times to see them closed isn't it. Have a wonderful week!
That's classic "country" church right there! Too bad it's empty now.

Thank you for sharing it in InSPIREd Sunday.
only know America through films and TV but when they depict rural churches this is just the sort of building they show.

It's sad that it's not being used.
I like how you positioned yourself to get this front and center view of the church. It's a great looking place.
