Country Church and Spire

While trying to find a rural church I had heard about, I found this one but not the one I was looking for.  This is a pretty little one that is no longer in use.  I'll have to make another trip to find the original one I was looking for.

Thanks for stopping!  Have a great week.

Until next time Barb

I love these tiny, old, little churches in the country. There's a lot of them here in Maine too and it's so sad to see them sitting empty. A lot of people have bought them and restored them into living quarters and they really do make beautiful homes. Just gotta' have the bank roll to do the restoration. Beautiful photo Barb.

So sad that it isn't in use! I hope somehow that it is saved from neglect.

Someone sure is keeping the grounds clean really nice not to be in use. Next to barns, old churches are the next most photographic. Thanks for sharing.

Sad it's not being used as a church anymore, but it would make a cute house! Good luck finding the other one! Have a nice week! Twyla

It is a pretty church. It's a sad sign of the times to see them closed isn't it. Have a wonderful week!

only know America through films and TV but when they depict rural churches this is just the sort of building they show.

I like how you positioned yourself to get this front and center view of the church. It's a great looking place.

What a charming little church. I love the way you shot this one - there's something about the way the path leads straight towards it that leads my eye right into the church. Beautiful!

they should allow people to use it for weddings, seems like the perfect setting!!
