Not much of a fence here, but I like what's behind it.
What's that lady doing over there, 315?
Oh, she's just taking pictures of us.
I'm bored with this picture taking.
To see fences of all kinds from all over hop over to Fridays Fences #67
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
Until next time

Cute horses! They do look very curious :)
What's up the number on the horse?
Too funny! I like what's behind the fence too.
i would have called that a 'put a fence in front of it' photo set. :)
wonder what the white horses # is? i've never seen a horse numbered before - like that? is that normal for horses? a nice see through fence there. ( :
I just bet that's exactly what they were saying Barb! I wonder why the number is on the brown horse. Nice photos.
I like the horses too!
Those horses look very happy! I think the number means it is a Mustang from the Mustang roundup out West. Not sure, just a guess. xx
I was wondering about the branded number, too...it is branded, isn't it?
Cute captions Barb!
Looks like that's a new shelter.
Not sure the brand needed to be so big. :)
They are beautiful animals. Sometimes it's definitely what's beyond the fence!
The fence made the perfect frame for the horses. =)
Good looking horses and I like the run-in shed!
Makes me wonder what her "name" is. :-)
Loved the commentary! Horses always make the photos more interesting anyway! Have missed stopping by here...
I've never seen horses with numbers on them -- cute captions Barb. :)
Funny what you have them saying. :)
I'm curious about why there is a number on that horse.
ha, they are so cute!
I like any fence that has horses behind it!
Horses always make for a great photo
awww, what fence?? so cute!!
Me, too, on liking what is behind it!
Nice photos, Barb. I'm wondering about the number on the horse. Odd spot for a brand, but then if it's a horse they ride the brand wouldn't show up under a saddle.
Hi there! I am a new reader and follower of your blog. I am so enjoying all of your posts and looking forward to more. Beautiful photos. I just love horses. I think they are so extraordinarily graceful I could watch them all day long!
Robyn :)
Barb, pretty horses. I have seen the Chincoteague ponies with numbers on them. Hope you are having a great day and a happy weekend!
The only time I have seen brands like these on horses were when they were to be sent to the glue factory or sent oversees for meat. Hopefully this horse was rescued. We use to tattoo our horses in their mouths. There is an Ontario company that comes over here and purchases horses from auctions and ships them to Europe. We have many rescue groups here in Michigan that try to buy the horses to save them from the slaughterhouse...so sad. Plus now or own govt has allowed the consumption of horse meat...this tugs at my heart because I grew up with these wonderful animals. Janice
hi Barb! Oh such pretty horses. I loved your captions, too. Have a fab weekend, okay?
Well behaved horses. That fence doesn't look like it would keep anything in.
I'm excited to see this two beautiful horses watch you snap away, Barb.
Nice captures.
I hope you are well and Happy, Barb.
Lpve the words that accompany the photos, Barb. You made me smile. :)
Haha! This made me smile. Great photos!
Such beautiful horses!
At first I did not get the 315. Why is he numbered? I once tried to photograph some cows. I pulled out the camera and they fled from the fence. I am not good at animal photography at all. Give me some china-it does not move.
Very interesting! I've never seen a horse numbered like that before.
Perhaps the horse was just purchased at an auction, and this is the number (not a brand, but a temporary number) as it went into the auction ring. Just a guess. When a horse is branded, it usually is in a different location and usually is a symbol that relates to the ranch it comes from.
These guys look well-fed for the winter, don't they? It does seem odd to mark a horse in such a prominent place. Haven't seen that.
they're beautiful, aren't they! =)
