South Dakota Barn

I snapped a photo of this old South Dakota barn on my way back from Sioux Falls

Linking to Barn Charm 101

I had an angiogram in Sioux Falls because I had failed a stress test.  The angiogram showed everything was fine with my heart!  That's the good news.  But still don't know what's causing  the shortness of breath when I exert myself.  They are thinking it may be exercise induced asthma.  So I'll be having more tests.  Good excuse for sitting around, not doing much.  :0)

Thanks for all your prayers and concern.  Have a great week.  I'll try and catch up on all your posts.

Until next time.

Barb

So glad you shared with us.

Glad to hear that your heart is healthy, but hope you get it figured out soon. I get winded, but it's from not exerting myself often enough. lol

Oh so sorry to hear of your health problems, glad to hear the heart is in good shape, but it must be distressing to not know what is causing your shortness of breath. Prayers for an explanation. Great barn shot. PS Take it easy!!

I hope the shortness of breath will be an easy fix.

This barn was very stately in its day. So sad to see it going, like many around here. enJOYed

Yay on the angiogram. I am on the procedure merry go round as you know and it is not fun at all. I took four days off from all electronics and cooked up a storm and likely gained five pounds. I want to get in the garden but it's raining every day and mosquitoes are all over. I am thinking/praying for you Barb. Rest up and take care please. xoxo, Olive

That's good news about your heart! I hope they pinpoint the cause for you.

That's a great old barn even in the falling down stage. I bet it was a beauty in its prime!

A bit sad to see it being destroyed, but also beautiful in your picture.
Good Tuesday, Marit.

Hi Barb,

I hope you feel better soon. It does sound like it could be asthma.

Good to know that the tests had good results!
Take care and rest, sometimes accumulate tasks and were sickened because of it!

Good to hear your heart is ok... they'll find what's wrong... continued prayers!

Great barn find & it's probably a good thing you got the shot, cuz it's gonna bite the dust, soon. =0

Thanks for joining =)

She's beginning to look a little tired, but she still exudes a certain amount of beauty!

Glad you had good results from your cardiac test. I have to go for a stress test next week. It seems my BP has kind of gone sky high but no other symptoms of any problems. An additional med attempting to bring it down even made it go higher. Go figure!

Barb, so glad there is nothing wrong with your heart. I hope you find out what is ailing you soon. You are in my prayers. I also just wanted to say I love this barn photo. I remember when we were kids we used to say barns like that had a giant that sat on them so they got squished! Hope all gets better soon. :)

isn't it a nice escape from everything in your world, just for a moment to find something worth capturing in your camera. It's a lovely, rustic barn Barb and I'm glad it popped up on your way back home. Take care (I'm glad your report was fine).

Hi, Barb

At least you know the problem isn't your heart, and that's a good thing. I imagine that the new tests will lead to a better idea of what is wrong. I do hope that it's nothing too serious and that you'll get some helpful advice on how to get better soon. After all, you have barns to photograph!

Wishing you well and sending up a little prayer,
Karen

I'm glad your angiogram turned out well. I went through the same sort of thing in 2001. All of a sudden I had my heart pounding and couldn't breathe. They ran every test they could on my heart, and it was fine. But, I also had extreme fatigue. They got the pounding under control with meds but the shortness of breath and the fatigue has remained. I have been tested for SO MANY things, and have been told that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that was onset with a virus. I also have arthritis, so I have a lot of overall pain as well, and I have asthma. So, I have been living with this "condition" for the last 11 years. Recently I had the Dr. check me out for a few more things...still no diagnosis, except that I have CFS. It's annoying to say the least but I am so grateful it isn't something worse. I hope they pinpoint your problem, Barb, and that it will be something they can treat! Take care of yourself! I'll be keeping you in my prayers!

Love the barn! Looks like the roof is going to collapse very soon. You may have caught it in the nick of time.

Hope you find an answer soon to your health problems. It's frustrating when they can't figure out what's going on. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Interesting weathered barn. I hope you don't have to go through too many tests before you figure out what the problem is. I'm glad it's not your heart, though!
