Two New Barns

I spotted these barns on the way to Wabasha, MN last week.   I had to pull off the highway to get the photos.  The first one is a round red barn.

The second one is light yellow.  But with the sun shining on it so brightly, the yellow doesn't show much.  In fact it seems to be only partly painted yellow.

I will post more later about the trip to Wabasha, where I visited the National Eagle Center.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Until next time,

I love the round one! I think they are probably the most charming of all types.
The yellow one looks very well maintained. Don't think I've ever seen a yellow one but I like the color.
Nice finds!

Hi Barb,

Very interesting barns. I love the one we had when I was growing up. It was fun to hide in the loft :-)

Both are beautiful...I think I have only seen two yellow barns, maybe three in all that I have seen. The one I photographed just looked tan in my photos and the others I had no chance to shoot.

Hi Barb,
I really love the round red barn. You don't see many of those around. The light yellow one is beautiful too. Also one you don't see often painted so light.
You sure have a wonderful collection of barn photos. You are so talented with your camera Barb.

Happy Spring,
Hugs, Celestina Marie

I'm not sure I've ever seen a round barn before. It would certainly be unique around here.

Mmmm...that buttermilk barn is calling my name. I'd love to build one, but the neighbor's would complain. One acre is not enough!

I love barns too! We actually have a round red barn almost identical to the one you show up here in northern Michigan!

Beautiful barns! I don't know which one I like the best, but I do have a soft spot for round ones since they are so rare in my area.
