Barn at the Creamery

While we were at Wabasha a couple of weeks ago we drove across the Mississippi River to the little town of Nelson, WI where there is an old creamery that makes wonderful ice cream.

 Doors to the Creamery

Outdoor seating area.

Looking along side the creamery I spied an old barn out back.

The barn is not very impressive but we sure enjoyed the ice cream!

A ceamery and a barn....you hit the jackpot this day. The old creamery structure is beautiful with its stucco and vines growing all over it. The barn is a cutie pie, too. Such a nice post. Thanks for your comments on mine. genie

What a great place. Very clean and well-cared for too. Little out of the way places like this have the best food. Definitely worth the trip!

Following you now. Btw I am not being allowed to add anyone to my blogroll. It is terribly frustrating and I cannot fix it.

hi Barb ... love the rustic look. Bet the vines really enhance the building when greened up ... of course they are showy now.
