No fences here but this is the road we took to the bottom of the canyon
They do raise cattle at the bottom of the canyon. Do you think the fences will keep the cattle in?
Please join me at Life According to Jan and Jer for Fridays Fences and see what other fences have been found
Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Until Next Time

Absolutely stunning photos! The fence is nice too...but that view! I remember the red dirt from the western part of Virginia too...stains your clothes, but lovely to look at!
That view is amazingly beautiful!. I like the first picture, with the simple fence.

Beautiful land, absolutely beautiful... love the fences =)
Gosh, Barb, those photos are just beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us...I have never even heard of this place but it is spectacular in its own way.
Holy. Cow. I'm going.
The canyon is really lovely! The fences are plain but don't detract from the landscape and probably serve their purpose well. I like that.
Your photos are beautiful; can't get over scenery!
It sure is clear why its called Red Canyon. What incredible scenery!
Oh, wow! That's some stunning scenery! Your photos are fantastic, Barb! How beautiful.
What a gorgeous place.
I don't think the fences are going to give anyone a moments worry way out there.
Wow, these photos are breathtaking.
What beautiful country! Great post I'm thinking that fence won't keep the cattle in!! I love going out west...we haven't been there in too long! It's so majestic!
The western U.S. has some of the most dramatic scenery. I haven't traveled enough in the western states. And what a surprise to find cattle and those lush fields at the bottom of the canyon. Did you know beforehand? Oh, yes! Fences! They take a back seat to nature's beauty but these in your photos are so right for the area, I think--which makes them beautiful too.
Beautiful shots.
Regards and best wishes
Barb~
