How often do you see a bird house and a picket fence next to a barn!
This close-up shows the names of the family members

Thanks for all you comments on my last post! I am still having trouble finding time to visit all of you. Sometimes I visit but don't leave a comment. Just know I am thinking of all of you.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week and I'll see you next time.

oh, glad you zoomed in on the quilt square so we could see those names and corners. :) thanks, barb!
oh that square is neat. Thanks for the Zoom.
Have a relaxed day Barb.
Thanks for sharing.
Another beautiful barn quilt. I heard you're getting winter weather there. We had it over a week ago and it melted already but there are still little snowbanks left in parking lots just like in the spring. Haha. I guess they won't be melting for a while yet.
Ah, I love the photo! Not just the barn, but that wonderful birdhouse too. :-)
Very Very Nice! I wonder what the quilt block is called. It's like having part of a family tree on your barn. Tom The Backroads Traveller
One of the best barn quilts I've seen.
Thanks for sharing :)
The names painted on the "quilt" is so special. I sure hope the snow doesn't last too long. We're still waiting for our first big cold snap which should arrive on Thursday.
That's a pretty barn. Have a great week Barb!
Just saw on "Sewing with Nancy" a lady that published a book about barn quilts. I wonder if there is a linky of just quilt barns? The one you have found is very unusual. Never have seen names posted. Hope you are doing well, and will be in the cold blast.
That's an awesome barn! I have to say I really like the birdhouse, too! They go well together!
I've never seen a barn... quilt or otherwise... with a picket fence and birdhouse, but I must say I love it! Having the names and figures of the young ladies on the quilt is such a sweet idea.
Stay safe and warm!
That's a beauty, Barb! My daughter just moved to MN - I bet she's complaining about the cold! It's snowing here in CO, too - both mountains and in Denver.
Loving your barn quilts! I like that they put the family names in the quilt. We really could use a bit of that snow you're getting. While we have snow on the ground and have since the first part of September, we need to have a good snowpack before we get really cold weather or it's hard on septic systems and perennials. Fortunately we've had mild temps.
That is one of my favorites of all the quilt barns (or any barn, for that matter) that I've ever seen - great photos.
How cool is that quilt! I love the names displayed on it. This is a great series.
Hugs,
Patti
So very pretty!
Awesome barn, Barb! Glad you are back!

Neat quilt barn, fun with the family names. That's a tall birdhouse. The fence is nice too.

I never tire of seeing the quilt barns. Love them.
Nicely composed shots!
This one is a beauty!! I enjoyed the close up, showing off all the details!! Have a wonderful weekend Barb, and don't ever worry yourself about leaving a comment for me
Winter is coming on fast, isn't it? I do love the barn quilts and wonder why no one places them on barns near where I live.
Dear Barb, you still continue posting charming barns. And I completely gave up on them. Feel a little bit guilty about it.
I am totally in love with this white beauty. I have never seen the barns like this in our country.
Very beautiful and wonderful photo!
Best wishes to you dear Barb.
Great find, Barb! I am having trouble keeping us these last few weeks too, but I appreciate you sharing with us. I hope to get back on schedule.
