Continuing with Barn Quilts

This barn was interesting as it had 2 quilts.  One on the haymow door and a smaller one on a side addition.  Notice the old tractor out front.

A closer look

No quilts on this old barn.  It just happened to be on the same road as all the others.

Well I am torn- I love the quilt barns..but there is just something about the rusty old that I like, too. Hope it's not too cold where you are. We are just now topping over the freezing mark, thank goodness.

Great barn with two quilts...I like the design of that overhang and must point it out to my carpenter. The old barn is still beautiful in its old age.

Those are fabulous barn pictures. I just love the old tractor sitting outlined against the sky. And, the quilts.... my goodness, just perfect. But, that last shot... it's my favorite.

That is the prettiest quilt barn yet. And I love the old run down one - I'm always glad when someone saves a barn by keeping it alive with a photo.

Another of my favorites...I'm always on the lookout for new ones along that stretch of road!

that first barn is magnificent! I've thought about a barn quilt but it's not to be here, perhaps next place.

That Barn Quilt is something! And the lower barn is spectacular with the silo. Great images, Barb.

I wonder if that old barn is still in use... There is no roof on the silo!

Great photos! That first barn looks just massive and like it is still in use. The barn quilt with the names on looks very folk-artsy-ish. Thanks for sharing these photos with us!

I love them both! I like seeing the barn quilts. We have so few around here. The last barn is awesome! I'm so sorry for not getting around sooner. It's been a sad week with a death in our family. Not much time for blogging.

Those barn quilts are so unique and beautiful! I didn't even know about them until seeing people blog about them. That's what I love about blogging. Always learning something new. Hope you have a very nice Thanksgiving!
