1968 Plymouth ?

On the way to my hair appointment I spotted this rusty old car among the wild phlox.  I thought they made a pretty background for the old car.  I'm thinking it is a 1968 Plymouth.  Does anyone know for sure?

I am joining Roan for Rubbish Tuesday for the first time.

Thanks for all your kind comments on my last post.
Have a good week and I'll see you next time

Barb

That's definitely a Corvair! The Phlox look cute behind it!

Looks like my girlfriend's Chevy Corvair. We tootled all around the countryside when we were teenagers. Love it. Thank you so much for linking up.

It's a great old car, but I would have no idea about the year. I'm not a car guy in that sense.

That is a great shot with the old car and the pops of color from the flowers, behind.

What a great car parked among the flowers!

Hey Grandma,
I'm with Roan, probably a Corvair. I had one and liked it. Ralph Nader said they were "unsafe at any speed." Shows how much he knows or maybe how much I know. Tom The Backroad Traveller

I was thinking a Corvair, too...great shot! xo

Looks like a Corvair Monza to me, although it maaaay be a Corvair Spyder. Either way, it's a priceless find and perfectly framed by the phlox!

Like the photo, Barb. Nice juxtaposition between the old car and the fresh flowers.

Really great find. Sad to see it deteriorating like that. Someone could restore it.

I don't know much about the cars. Unfortunately. You found a real treasure. Old, classy and still looking great. Every time I see the cars like this one I also take pictures.

Great photo and great find!

Great picture!
You are right.. the old car makes a great backdrop.

Could be a Corvair. Reminds me of my older brothers old Barracuda.

I'm not sure if that car is a Plymouth or a Chevy. It is hard to tell. Too bad it has been left for ruin. Perhaps your post will encourage someone to hunt it down and find it and give it new life. That's always good, right? lol

Yes, a box of sunshine to you, Barb! (figuratively speaking)

I wish I could help you on the year and make of the car, but that's not my strong suit. It is a fantastic submission for Roan's meme. :)

Yep, that's a Corvair. I remember them back in the day. :) Great photo Barb!

Hi Barb, love this photo. The car is an old Covair. Late 60's.

I was just dropping by for a look at your last couple of posts. I noticed you said in the one before this that life was busy. It`s been a bit like that here too!

I hope your health concerns are under control, Barb.
