On the way to my hair appointment I spotted this rusty old car among the wild phlox. I thought they made a pretty background for the old car. I'm thinking it is a 1968 Plymouth. Does anyone know for sure?
Hey Grandma, I'm with Roan, probably a Corvair. I had one and liked it. Ralph Nader said they were "unsafe at any speed." Shows how much he knows or maybe how much I know. Tom The Backroad Traveller
I don't know much about the cars. Unfortunately. You found a real treasure. Old, classy and still looking great. Every time I see the cars like this one I also take pictures.
I'm not sure if that car is a Plymouth or a Chevy. It is hard to tell. Too bad it has been left for ruin. Perhaps your post will encourage someone to hunt it down and find it and give it new life. That's always good, right? lol
Yes, a box of sunshine to you, Barb! (figuratively speaking) ♥, Renae
I was just dropping by for a look at your last couple of posts. I noticed you said in the one before this that life was busy. It`s been a bit like that here too!
I hope your health concerns are under control, Barb.

a great find for the meme! :)
What a great shot, I am not familiar with the old model cars.. Enjoy the rest of your week!
That's definitely a Corvair! The Phlox look cute behind it!
Looks like my girlfriend's Chevy Corvair. We tootled all around the countryside when we were teenagers. Love it. Thank you so much for linking up.
It's a great old car, but I would have no idea about the year. I'm not a car guy in that sense.
That is a great shot with the old car and the pops of color from the flowers, behind.
What a great car parked among the flowers!

I was thinking a Corvair, too...great shot! xo
Looks like a Corvair Monza to me, although it maaaay be a Corvair Spyder. Either way, it's a priceless find and perfectly framed by the phlox!
Cool find! I love the whole image!
now that is a cool car. i wonder what kind of memories it could share. great ones i bet. ( :
What a great pic! I bet that car has some tales to tell.
I don't know cars, but it makes a really cool picture!
Like the photo, Barb. Nice juxtaposition between the old car and the fresh flowers.
What a neat find, sorry I know nothing about cars.
Nice photo! The flowers are a lovely contrast to the beat-up old car.
Really great find. Sad to see it deteriorating like that. Someone could restore it.

What a great car and a lovely photo - I have absolutely NO idea what it is but I know a man who will - I'll show it to him later and get back to you.
I've no idea but no doubt it was once much loved

Great picture!
You are right.. the old car makes a great backdrop.
Could be a Corvair. Reminds me of my older brothers old Barracuda.
Perfect for the meme...and the wild phlox are beautiful, too.
Hmmm not sure but I bet it was beauty in it's day.

I wish I could help you on the year and make of the car, but that's not my strong suit. It is a fantastic submission for Roan's meme. :)
Yep, that's a Corvair. I remember them back in the day. :) Great photo Barb!
Hi Barb, love this photo. The car is an old Covair. Late 60's.
Hugs.
This is a wonderful find!

Wonderful finding by you. It is waiting for the owner for a long time!
Great photo! With your "watermark" on the door of the car in the picture, it looks like it belongs to you!
