Grandma Barb’s This and That

I've made a decision

I've been feeling pretty stressed lately as I've gotten so far behind on everything.  My house desperately needs cleaning, I need to go through my mom's things, plus I have a garage and basement full of stuff that I have been picking up from garage sales, etc.  Lots of stuff to repurpose for my space I rented at Ade's Attic. So I have made the decision to take an extended blog break.  The decision was hard to make as I will miss all of you but if I'm to get anything done it is necessary.  I will stop by to see what you are all up to once in awhile but may not comment.  I will be back sooner or later though.

I'll leave you with a couple of pictures from my gardens.

I'll See You In September (remember that song).  It probably won't be that long though because I'll never be able to stay away that long!

You will surely be missed Barb that's for sure....but I've been kinda' taking a break too. It's just too hot to be on the computer so I just take it a day at a time. The one thing you don't want to be stressed out by spending time here when other matters are more important.

So we'll "See You In September"..wish I lived closer I'd come and help you out....busy hands are good for the soul at least mine anyway. Hugs

Hi Barb~
It's overwhelming when you think of all the things you need to attend to. The LAST thing you need to worry about is keeping up with a blog (although you will be MISSED).
Take some time for yourself...you deserve it.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon...and your gorgeous photos, as always! :)
Big hugs~
Lisa xoxo

I understand completely, Barb. I've not been blogging much either...although I did write an update today. I love blogging, but it takes up a lot of time, doesn't it? I hope to get back to it more regularly also, but a break now and then seems necessary. Your flowers are gorgeous! Are those white hydrangeas? They're one of my favorites! Hope you're enjoying your break and getting a lot accomplished! Hugs, Cindy
