This is just one of the pictures I took. It is of the old building I showed you last summer with the wild sunflowers growing in front of it. Now the sunflower heads are covered with snow. You can see the picture from last summer here.
I'll be showing more of my snow pictures in the days ahead.
I hope you are all having a great weekend.

We're in the middle of a good blizzard here too! I got stuck in a ditch coming home in it yesterday afternoon! Yuck! Wish I could just hibernate and not come out till Spring! Pretty picture!
very much like it in either season! nice! stay warm!
Everything is so beautiful under a coat of snow... but, no snow here. We're under a tornado warning w/ temps in the upper 60s =0
I just love the snowy photos and do you need 'snow tyres' to get out in this weather or only when it's thick on the roads? Beautiful snapshot Barb' and I know how much good it does to our soul to be able to get out and work with our cameras like you did
It's gorgeous! I love snow :) It has been in the 70's here today but cold weather expected this week.
Hugs,
Donna
I really hope that you keep the snow there and we don't get any. :-) It looks so pretty but it can be so treacherous.
Something so magical about snow..hope this week is better than last!!
Hello, Barb
I was just catching up of some of your posts. I`m so sorry to hear that your mom has been having a tough time. It would be so hard on you as well. Please try to take care of yourself as you do what you can for your mom. It`s good that you have photography to relax you.
Thinking of you,
Karen
What a beautiful photograph Barb...it looks like a Christmas postcard. We (might) get some snow tonight...and I'll admit that I'm looking forward to it.
Blessings and stay warm!
Great photo, Barb! Love the texture of the sunflowers.
Look forward to more of your snowy photos.

My children would love to see some snow here!
That's beautiful with the snow! We're having rain and 60 degree weather.
Sounds like what I've been waiting for over here...but no snow in sight. In fact, we're pretty much still in a drought. In fact, I'm thinking b/c it's been so warm, I might have to go put a little water on my baby trees out there b/c we haven't even had any rain. Send us some snowy photos, Barb!!
It looks so pretty in the snow! We're getting a little snow here tonight.
Very pretty! As much as I am enjoying the warmth of Virginia I do miss seeing the beauty of a winter snow. Enjoy the week and stay warm.
oh barb, i love a good snow storm!
this image is gorgeous, i can't wait to see the rest!!
now, hunker down and enjoy some quiet time!!
Fun to see this in different seasons. The snow is so pretty! Stay safe and warm.
Do you live in Minnesota? Tonight's news featured all the snow in Minnesota and North Dakota! Your photo is beautiful!
Pleeze send snow...freezing rain here in Michigan. I love the snow that sticks to the trees and shrubs...so beautiful! Take care, Janice
Blizzards must be unpleasant but they certainly do make beautiful wonderlands! That is such a lovely image with all those silvery patterns.
it is beautiful, isn't it?!
we have wood cut and stacked....but no snow in the forecast...
santa is bringing sleds...
Beautiful
So this means white Christmas! Great! I'm a little jealous here! :-)
What a great photo! I wish we had snow... and when I wish for snow, you know that's a big deal. All we've been getting is misty, rainy, foggy weather. Not very Christmas-like.
beautiful!! i want snow!
Beautiful photo Barb in both seasons!
SO pretty! We are supposed to get some next week!
Wow, a blizzard, all that snow. We had a little snow last week but it was all gone in one day.I don't really mind.
I remember this barn! This is a wonderful winter view of the same subject. Don't you love red and white!
Oh yes, you do! How great is that!? Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #60!
