Sunlight on my Collection

This morning I had my tape all set up to do my yoga and I noticed the sun shining on the TV and my collection of vintage cameras.  They were given to me by my friend who gave me the table in my last post.  I did a little vignette with them next to the TV.  Not sure they will stay there but they are there for now.

A vintage Revere 8 Movie Camera & Tripod

2 Kodak Instamatic Cameras and an electronic flash unit

I love photography but had no thoughts of collecting anything related.  But now that I have these, I think I might have to look for an old Brownie Box Camera to go with this collection.

Wishing you a day full of sunshine.

nice setup Barb. Yes the old box-brownie, I remember those. We tended not to hold onto things once the more sophisticated came through, never realizing one day we'd like to have them in our possession, just for the memory. Good luck with your search.

Hello, Barb
I remember that my father used to have an old Brownie Hawkeye camera when I was growing up. It did the trick.
Thank you for participating in Sunlit Sunday. I hope that you weren't so distracted by the sunbeams that you neglected to do your yoga. I recently dug out my yoga mat and would like to start using it!

We had inherited an old brownie from my hubby's great aunt and just put it aside with all our old cameras. When I went to purchase a Canon DSLR a few years back, the camera store said they would love to have any old cameras for the students to study. They take them apart to learn the working mechanisms etc. and we were only to happy to donate everything.
I alternate Yoga with cardio during the week and find I benefit from the stretching; no pretzel bends for me though. :-)

It would be fun searching garage sales for the brownie. One day you have no collection, and before you know it, you will have a dozen!

Thanks for sharing with the newbie part. Old cameras are pretty neat, I have a few myself.

I had quite a few cameras that I was holding on to, but now I don't remember having seen them for a while. I like your small collection, good memories. I'm a new follower, drop by for a visit when you can.

I love your camera collection. I think a movie reel would look great with these! I hope to collect a few more cameras and would even love an old projector! Wouldn't that be fun? Thanks for stopping by.
