Fall in Chester, NH

While on my vacation in New Hampshire we visited the town of Chester.  Many of the homes and businesses had these great scarecrow people in their yards.  This is only a few of the many we saw.

Bride and groom

Wood cutter

Deer Hunter

Bee Keeper

Who's that with the farmer and his wife?  Cindy how did you get in there?

The Headless Horseman.  Do you see his stick horse?

A family

The Bounty Hunter

At a park in Chester a fisherman is fishing off the covered bridge. Volunteers built this covered bridge over a
waterfall in the park.

The following 3 pictures are of Mike's yard.  His yard is amazing.

That's it for today.  I will be posting more pictures of my vacation in a day or so.

I hope you are all having a great week.

What a fun post. I can't imagine how much fun you had photographing all those scarecrows. It's neat that the entire town of Chester got involved...! I always love visiting your blog and seeing what you've been catching in your camera's lens. ":o) You never let us down ... Keep up the good work!

Hi Barb! Thank you for your comments on my blog. I did notice you had started following me a while back, but I'm not sure why my posts aren't showing up for you. The only thing I can think of is maybe adding a gadget to your blog called Blog List. It will publish up to 25 blogs that you read/follow on your home page. Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest... I'm still to new at this ":o) Hopefully we can get the kinks worked out... I want to keep up with you guys too.
