Surprise in the Bean Field

On one of my evening drives I came upon this deer in a bean field.  She was just standing there eating beans, I guess.  She wasn't afraid and kept walking towards the car.  I even got out of the car as she came around behind it and walked across the road.  On the other side she stopped and looked back and then walked on.

Nice capture of the beautiful deer. I can't tell if it's as dry there as it is here in MO, but the bean field looks green and nice!

That never happens to me! She must have been somewhat used to people. Great shots!

What a sweet treat, Barb! I love deer, but I have a bad story about one, too! Once, when I was little, I went to a cemetary with my Grandpa and a deer came out and attacked me and knocked me to the ground and started jumping on me! My Grandpa took his leather belt off in a hurry and whacked the deer and she ran away! We were both scared!

Hi Barb, It's very nice to meet you; thanks for visiting my blog.
What a sweet deer. We have a little mini dachshund that would eat green beans out of our garden, too!
You captured some great pictures.

Deer are so beautiful, but destructive. lol. We have one that comes behind our fence, so my yard has stayed uneaten, but my neighbors have not fared so well. Nonetheless, I still go outside and watch them when they pass through. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great weekend!

pretty but glad that doe is not in my garden...

What a great wildlife shot. Our don't let us get that close. They seem to be pretty skittish. I'm sure the farmers don't love to see them eating their beans!

Fantastic captures. Deers are such lovely creatures. Sadly, most of the ones I see here are laying on the side of the road after being hit by a car.

We have such an overpopulation of deer in our parts. I'n amazed at how small some of their nesting sites really are.

This is a scene we wake up to everyday now and it's beautiful. As always, you capture the most beautiful photos. Hope you're feeling some relief from this massive heat we ALL seem to be having. We can't escape it in NJ. It's humid every single day. :(
Could be worse though...snow!
Hope you're enjoying your summer. xo
