Friday Fences

You might remember this split rail fence that I posted back in April.

Here's what it looked like last July.  I assume it is looking like this again...covered with wild roses.

You just don't see a lot of split rail fences. This one is so pretty with the roses growing on it.

There's just nothing prettier than an old wooden fence with flowers all over it!

Barb, you are the road warrior! Traveling down the beaten path to photograph all of these beautiful barns and fences... a true panorama of a vintage America. Your images are beautiful and rustic. Simply charming!

I can almost smell those wild roses and a split rail is the perfect thing for them to ramble over. One thing that we appreciate about the change of seasons is the surprises that spring up from month to month.
