Sunlit Flowers

This is a bulb garden that I received for my birthday.  The sun was shining on it the other morning so I quick grabbed my camera and snapped some pictures.  Then I downloaded the latest version of Picasa and started playing with it.

This one is using the Vignette

I don't think I did anything with this one

This is the focal black and white

Another Vignette

I think I just highlighted this one a little.

I like the Focal B&W.  It just colors the focal point a little.  I used that in the post of my Thrift Store Tabletop Here but I had called it Soft B&W.  There is another edit called Soft Focus.

I am sharing these with Karen at My Little Home and Garden for Sunlit Sunday

Spring is in the air!  I hope you are all having a wonderful sunny weekend.

Until next time.

Great photos Barb! I love the black & white with the color focal points. Hmmm, how did you do that!

Hello Barb
I'll bet your spring bulb container smells heavenly. A nice birthday gift and it's in a good place to soak up the sun.

Flowers make any day sunny. Yours are just gorgeous.

Nice to visit you through Sunlit Sunday. I love meeting bloggers at the various parties.

P.S. Your mom is so adorable! How blessed you are, and I love her motto. I'll have to remember that one.

Yes, it looks like you're having fun with that! Spring has disappeared and left us with something that looks more like November than March - high winds, dark skies. A bulb garden would be a nice reminder of what's really supposed to be going on!

Hello, Barb
A bulb garden is just the perfect thing to tide one over until things start growing in the garden. I like how you experimented with different effects.

What fun these new cameras and photo editors are. Toys for grownup girls like us! Love all the variations on the flowers.
