Bachman House

I haven't gotten very far with my Christmas decorating yet.  I've been fighting a nasty cold for the last week plus helping my friend with Parkinson's Disease move into an assisted living apartment.  So I haven't had much energy for decorating.

I had a really nice Thanksgiving with my family at my daughter's near the Twin Cities though.  I was fortunate to be able to visit the Bachman's Holiday Ideas House while I was there.  So I am going to share a few of the pictures I took.  The first 3 pictures were taken in the Bachman's Store.

These two pictures were taken in the porch of the Ideas House.

Notice the bottles sticking in the greens in this old kettle.

The rest of the pictures are from the dining room.

The place settings used different sized poinsettia plates.  Photo frames with pictures of dinner guests were used as place card holders.

The centerpiece was a candelabra embellished with ornaments and napkin-ring candle rings.

I loved these mercury glass bottles with Peace, Noel, and Joy sitting on the sideboard.

A decorative wood headboard and footboard were turned into a planter and filled with silver sprayed hydrangeas, ivy, tree toppers, candlesticks and candles.

I'm sharing these decorating ideas with DebbieDoos Newbie Party and Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life

Please stop over and visit these great blogs to see what others are doing

I hope to have my Christmas decorating done next week and will be sharing at the Christmas Blogger Block Party.  However, my decorating will be a lot simpler than the ones above.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to seeing how you are decorating for Christmas.

Barb

ps, I will share more from the Bachman House later.
