i am worried for so many of the crop farmers this year - and the puny hay crops that will impact the livestock ranchers, too.
The early spring then cold snap already hit the apple orchards around here. I hope the other crops are OK. There is rain called for tomorrow.
Have a good weekend, Barb.

Oh ja, es ist schon schlimm mit dem Wetter auf dieser Erde, manche Länder haben zu viel Rege, andere zuwenig, es ist eine Katastrophe.
Hoffen wir, dass es bei Dir bald regnet...
Lieben Gruß

I sure hope rain comes very soon!
Let's hope this doesn't happen! This is a very nice picture by the way! Have a good weekend!
(I'm here through Green Day)
Beautiful photo Barbs.
I hope the rain comes soon
and the crops can be saved.
In Ireland we have a different situation in that the farmers cannot cut the barley because the fields are too wet and the crop is being destroyed.
The weather situation is difficult for many people.
Thank you so much Barb for linking up with your gorgeous green field.
I was delighted to have you with us on "Green Day"
Have a lovely weekend.
x Fiona
We are in the same situation. We've had 2 yards near us go up in flames when a transformer blew. Praying for rain for all of us!
Barb, we've had 100 degrees or more every day this week. We are watering our garden like crazy! The grass is so brown! AND WE DON'T LIVE IN THE SOUTH!! C'mon, mother nature, send us some more RAIN!! I get thirsty just walking out the front door. :P
We are all suffering in the heat, but the future of everyone depends on the farmers being able to harvest their crops. I pray that they get some rain soon!
Barb what an awesome picture. Happy Green Day!
Hopefully things will turn around this week. There is brown, yellowed, curled corn near me. Sad.
I hope you get some rain soon! It is finally pouring rain at my house as I type and I love the sound of the much needed rain.
Hugs,
Donna
I really hope you get rain soon! The grass is crispy under our feet here in Western/central KY & going on the second wk of 100's which is not the long term usual here. Such a disappointment after such a great, early spring for the farmers.
Beautiful shot! I wish ours still looked like that. It might be too late at this point.
Stunning photo...so peaceful...
So lovely...

The weather in all the world is so strange. Here and there so much water and flooding, and then there are these dry places.
Happy green day and weekend
farming has always been a game of chance. Whatever riches the farmers have made in the good years, they well deserve. Hopefully the rains will come before it's too late
That's a lovely green field - I really hope you get some rain soon so save it from drying up.
Lovely green shot. Barb! I do hope you get rain.
Hoping we all get rain and lots of it. This weather is just crazy!
What a lovely photo...I sure hope the rain comes soon! Here where we are, everything is beginning to wilt from the incredibly high temps. Have a great weekend!
it's a beautiful field, i hope you get the much needed rain!!
stay cool this weekend!!
Lovely photo Barb. We are in the same boat here in Michigan. So hot and dry for the farmers..hopefully we all will get some much needed rain without the severe storms. Take care, Janice
That's a beautiful photo and I'm glad to see it's still green. Everything is drying up around here. It has been SO hot and dry. Our grass is brown and crunchy! Praying for rain soon.
Cindy
Barb, I hope you get rain soon. We had 39 days of no rain but finally received some last week. We had a wild fire near our home so the rain was an answer to everyone's prayers.
It's sad to look out and see our gorgeous green mountain now black.
Hugs,
Jann
The lack of rain will impact all of us sooner or later.
It's a tough year for most farmers. I think it's too late for the corn around here. We need rain so they don't lose the soybeans, too. Beautiful green field.
Our heat is finally going to break tomorrow. Now we just need some rain. Everything is dried up here.
Laura
oh dear! Our problem is too much rain, the crops are dying as the fields are flooding and the nutrients leeched out of the soil...nature can be pretty unforgiving. Hope you get some rain soon x
This looks like some of the scenes around here...
Afraid that it is already to late for most of our area. The corn is stunted and the beans are browning in the field. We have been having scattered storms in the area but not enough to wet the sidewalks here.
I really adore that song! Beautiful!
Wishing you a day or two of gentle rains that sink into the soil.
