I always like to take the back roads because you never know what you might find. My cousin and I were doing just that when we went down a dead end road. Here is what we found. Looks like they belong in Texas, not Minnesota.

Backroads just brim with surprises such as this!
I so miss seeing the Texas longhorns!!! We have a few hiding out here in Florida..I wonder how they get so lost? Loved your photos!!
Hello: Beautiful pictures! I grew u on a farm, and we used to have a Longhorn bull named Sweetums, and he was a very sweet bull! Now my brother has a Watusi steer, which also has huge horns! Take care, and have a great weekend!
I saw one of these today in northern VA - they are so interesting, but different for our area!
what a surprise, eh? Nice photos
Nice shots n edits!
I love the B&W version!
Very cool, Barb! I love what you did with the second photo!
love the black & white. look at those horns. ouch!! (:
Oh my, this is very funny--an outbreak of black spotted creatures. Lately Chet the puppy has gone all black spotted under his coat--a real mystery. We need to talk with your guys! :-)
Great shots Barb! The back roads always offer great photo opportunities!! :)
Is this a cow? Now that looks like dalmatian dog hehehe. ^_^

Love the edit you did on the 2nd picture, Barb! I like to take pictures of non-black cattle; I need a little variety once in a while.
Wow, that does look like Texas! I'm glad you found them so we could see them!
great find!!
I'm glad the longhorns are on the other side of the fence!

Aren't they gorgeous? Wonderful find, Barb!
Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursdays this week. xo
I love taking country roads too. Those cattle are magnificent.
Look at the horns on those dudes! WoW ! LoL! =)
Great photos. Love the textures and effects you used.
This is a great find. I always like to take the back roads. My friends don't understand it and actually told me that they NEVER do that, afraid of getting lost. Some of the best finds I have ever had have been by being a little adventurous and yes getting a bit lost, so it's nice to find another back-road adventurer.
Nice shots!
Long horns and spots! Very different from what I am used to seeing. :)
I like the horns, cool looking cows. Great find and photos. Thanks for sharing.
I started to say: When did you come to Texas?
Gorgeous!
