Peonies and Salvia

My peonies really bloomed over the weekend.  I'm glad I captured them because after a hot and very windy day they are about done.

I had this old blue chair without a seat in the garage and I put my Salvia plant in it.  The wind kept blow it over in the stand I had it in.  I  like it better sitting in the chair and it didn't blow over.

Just beautiful. We don't get cold enough for peonies here so I really love to see yours. The salvia looks like it was meant for that chair. Patty

Your flower beds are so gorgeous, and I like your use of the little chair, very pretty. I wish I could grow peonies here. Have a good day,

Love the peonies. Salvia blooms almost 9 months here-it is a workhorse of a plant for me.

Beautiful peonies! My favorite flower. I am waiting for mine to open up. I also like the use of the old chair for the planter. I always look at old chairs by the side of the road to do that with but I don't know if my husband would like it. He doesn't see old things the same way we do! Lol. His mother used to make them go antique hunting with her when they were kids. Enough said. ;)

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers! Ours are not nearly ready to bloom. I love seeing yours, and the Salvia too. The chair is perfect with the flowers in it!

They are lovely. I only wish they lasted a bit longer. Great idea with the flower chair.

I love the white peonies. I wish mine did better, unfortunately they were among the first green things we got and the ducks 'investigated' at bit too thoroughly! Beautiful pictures!

Beautiful! I love peonies, but unfortunately they didn't do that well this year. My salvia is going strong though. I've noticed the bees really love salvia, too!

I have a huge yard and garden, but peonies is something that I don't have that I wish I did! When I photographed a bunch last year, it was from a house for sale down the street that was vacant and had been for sale and vacant for a long time... so I cut some in the middle of the night for my kitchen table because I felt they were going to waste!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love peonies so much! They are one of my all-time favorites. You have a wonderful garden bed there with them and the salvia, especially using the old chair. So pretty!
