Garden Roses

The roses on the south side of my house are really blooming right now.  When I moved here 5 years ago there was nothing along this side.  Here's what it looks like today.

The roses are shrub roses called Sunrise Sunset.  They will bloom again later this summer.

My daughter brought me this old rusty bicycle that she dug out of her grove.  I thought it would look good amongst the roses.

The roses are beautiful, but I love the bike! I passed up an old red one the other day and regret it.

Barb, I love that old bike! My roses bloom twice a summer, too, and, if I prune them just right, there have been times I can coax a third bloom out of them also!

These are so beautiful! I love giant masses of roses (I had a blue girl rose bush that I was really excited about then my dog ate it) I'm so jealous!
