Jesse's Garden Fences

While I was photographing Jesse's Gardens here, I took some pictures of fences he has around his place.  I am sharing them with    Fridays Fences #39 at Life According to Jan and Jer.

There's the white picket fence of course.

This is the gate to the back yard garden.

The next 3 are fences he has around the entire back garden to keep out the deer and rabbits.   He has the wheels and arches topped off with barbed wire to keep out the deer.  There's other wire at the bottom to keep out the rabbits.

Then there's the old wooden fence for the clematis to climb on.

I'll be sharing more pictures of the barn and granary on Barn Charm next Tuesday.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I am going to my daughter's for a family reunion.  Should be a lot of fun!

See you next time!

Barb

What a wonderful place! I especially love those round fence sections...not even sure how you would describe them! Beautiful place - I would love to visit it!

He has some wonderfully decorative fences. I love that circular iron one.

The first thing that caught my eye was the plant growing up the center of the wagon wheel. I have two of those wheels so I am always interested to see what others do with them.

Thanks for the interesting read with my morning cup of coffee.

Just when I thought it could not get any better it does.

Amazing how many different kinds of fencing he has.... and yet, they all work together beautifully to create a charming garden!

Have fun at your family reunion, and be safe.

Warm wishes...

What a fanciful garden with all those "found" objects. In the first photo is that a wooden wheel leaning against that great faded blue shed? Too bad about having to use the deer and rabbit barriers but gardens are so much work you must do it. The fences are perfect with the garden. And that tumble of clematis--oh my!

Safe travels this weekend and stay cool.

Fences and gates are sometimes very pretty. All those captured by you are so sweet I visited England last week and found they're really part of the house, A gem to a cottage house.
Have a wonderful family reunion.

Gorgeous imagery. I love how fences help us create open air rooms. The colors of the blooms add a special sort of magic!

I really like these shots. But, the yellow flowers against that blue wall is fantastic.

I would love to find some old iron like what is in that third shot. Very lovely and unique fence.

Buying a quality vinyl fence can be very expensive and believe me, there are plenty of things that can go wrong.
