Garden Flowers

With the wacky weather we've had for the past year, the earwigs, and the fact that I haven't gotten a lot of weeding done,  my gardens this year aren't looking the best.  Everyone's daylilies have some kind of fungus with the leaves turning yellow and few blooms.  So I have taken pictures of individual flowers to show you.

Lily

Clematis

Beebalm

Beebalm taken late in the day with a few rays of sun shining on them.  I like their shadows on the garage wall.

Annabelle Hydrangea

We had  rain and wind last night and some of my hydrangeas are flopped over on the ground.  I hope they will return to standing up.

your photos of the flowers are beautiful! I think the bugs have been horrible this year. Spiders and moths are everywhere in our yard! They are keeping us on our toes this year.

Pretty flowers, Barb. Sorry to hear about the Annabelle Hydrangea
getting beat down. That always seems to happen with my peonies.

Your photos look really pretty, Barb. I especially like the colour of the red lily. As for rain, there's some of it falling right now, along with some thunder and lightening. I unplugged my laptop just in case!

Such pretty flowers! I HATE earwigs...when I find one I smash it to bits! We also have had a gazillion spiders this year...ugh! I guess our mild winter didn't kill anything off...hope your hydrangea recovers!

Love the bee balm. Mine is not doing well and looks as if it is not going to bloom this year at all. Some gardening years are a challenge. I am covered up with weeds too dear Barb.

Your flowers are all pretty, I love the red lily! I think the insects are about to take over here. The mild winter we had must be the reason there are so many of them.

Your flowers look so pretty. Sorry to hear you've run into some problems this year in the garden. My Annabelles are still developing and I won't see their blooms for a while yet but they do tend to lay over because of their big heads!

Don't know what the larger picture would show, but these close ups are beautiful..my monarda hasn't bloomed yet.
