Some of them liked to fly so low that you felt like you needed to duck.
Fly me to the moon.
Coming in for a landing
Two for the road or the sky
Flying off into the sunset
Up close and personal. I got a good look at this one. It has 2 seats. Some have only one. The owner of this one said they can only fly if the wind is under 10 miles an hour. They lucked out because it had been pretty windy here during the day and had gone down in the evening.
Linking to Sky Watch Friday
Stop over at Sky Watch and see what wonderful things you can see in the sky
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend.
Until next time

i like how you made the face in the first shot. so clever. my favorite shot was the 4th of just the parachute section - great subtle light. :)
Those are fabulous shots! Love the eyes in the first one...
Great shots, looks like a fun time!
amazing men in their flying machines...great snaps Barb!
Great photos, Barb! I like all of them! I love the colorful parachute parts, and I enjoyed the info. Never saw one up close.
Way cool shots!!! Really like some of them, but can't remember the numbers...the one with the single ultralight is my fav.
Terrific captures! I, too, love the face in the first shot, but all of them are wonderful, Barb! Looks like fun to me! I took a flight in a regular balloon once in California and it was fantastic, but I'm not sure I would be brave enough for a flight in one of these! Have a great weekend!

Great shots Barb. What a perfectly wonderful way to shoot the evening sky. Love it!!
These are wonderful pictures of those strange flying machines. I am happy to see that some have two seats--there is hope for me yet!
Last week I posted about a local powered parachute pilot who photographed all kinds of wonderful things in Israel from above and published them in a book. What a job to have, eh?!
Great pictures, I especially like the one that looks like eyes. I remember when I was a kid people used to fly over our house with ultralights, it always made us stop what we were doing to watch them. Thanks for the memory. :)
Fun top shot!!
Yes Yes fly me to the moon! looks like so much fun!!! =)
Yes, that face at the beginning is very cool. I also liked the colourful shot, 7th from the bottom, and appreciated the close-up view too. I didn't know there were wind-speed limits. Thanks for a fun and interesting post.
Neat post! I love the shot with the moon, and also the "eyes"....very cute!
Great shots, Barb! My favorites are the one with the moon and that first one. It really does look like eyes! Made me smile!
