Barn quilts

I haven't posted a photo of a barn in ages.  I haven't even been out taking pictures of any in this cold snowy weather.  But when I was at my daughter's for Thanksgiving I found these 3 with barn quilts.

I'll be sharing these with Rurality Blog Hop

Rurality Blog Hop #49

Sorry I haven't been around to visit all of you lately.  I'm trying to stay off this computer so I can keep focused on going through my mom's things and cleaning out.  While looking for a bill for her taxes, I started going through my filing cabinet.  I'm happy to say that I found the bill and have cleaned out several file folders.

Thanks for stopping by and all your kind comments on the Frozen Falls.
Until Next Time
Barb

Fun barn finds, Barb! Both the barns and quilt blocks are neat.

Good Luck as your declutter. I am a firm believer that outer order creates inner peace.

Nice finds - I love the middle one. It's good that you're spending time sorting through things, and that you found the bill you were looking for. Sorting and organizing always makes me feel better about just about everything. Take care!

Sorry I typed white snow in my comment, but i wanted to say white sky. The barns look really beautiful against the moody weather. And i love the desaturated look.

These are great!
I REALLY love the second one, though. Are they all located in southern MN?
I have a friend who did a little barn quilt tour down the eastern side of the state into Iowa. So cool!

I love these Barb, and they may even help me persuade the Great Scot to put a barn quilt on our pole barn!

Glad you are making headway with your chores. And these are great barns and decorating with imagines of quilts is impressive, is this a certain group of people that decorate their barns like this?

Dearest Barb;
Oh, I've never seen the quilt outside of the barn. How interesting♡♡♡

PS> Thank you very much for stopping by. My used to be bank clerk husband had filing my late (last year) father's tax return ready. And I still have a big job for his empty house(^^;)

I have never seen or heard of a barn quilt, but it does look so lovely. Bet those quilts don't last too long though out there in the weather. Love how they look though.
