My Hardy Hibiscus bloomed for the first time.
The window boxes are finally filling in. The ivy is really growing.
I also planted some Autumn Joy Sedum under the window boxes.
A friend was digging hers up and gave them to me.

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Beautiful window boxes! Your place looks wonderfully landscaped.
Your hibiscus is very nice... this has been a great year for them here in the midwest... they apparently relish the extra heat! Larry
Barb, that hibiscus is gorgeous! I am so anxious to get back to my yard now and enjoy it - something that has been sadly neglected this spring! I love your window boxes too!
Extraordinary pictures! You will love the Autumn Joy Sedum. We had a lot of it at our last home. Hope you have a wonderful day.
it's lovely to visit your sweet garden and colourful flowers Barb'; beautiful post
Your hibiscus looks like a sea creature or a sculpture...really neat form! I love my autumn sedums, too...I have five big bunches of it and every year they seem to get a little bigger. Wonderful seed heads on those guys!
They are so pretty! I love the glass piece you have on the middle one - so lovely!
Gorgeous!! You have such lovely flowers Barb!
i am LOVING that hibiscus bloom - both in alien bud form AND full face! :)
Beautiful hibiscus, and those window boxes are charming!
What a lovely hibiscus, Barb. I just can't get mine to flower...it's been three years and still no flower!
Hi Barb- Your hibiscus is so pretty! I haven't seen blooms on mine yet. I planted them last year so I don't know much about them but I thought they were dead for so long because the plants just wouldn't come out of the ground! I guess they want warm temps! Your planter boxes are looking grand too! I don't have any sedum anymore but I always enjoy the plant when I see it!
Lovely hibiscus and the plants boxes are pretty. Lovely post and photos.
hi Barb,
I found you at Tracies over at Fishtail Cottage. I'm now following and I love your flowers and window boxes..so pretty. I used to have hibiscus and they just vanished one season. Wonder why? Umm??? yours are stunning!

i LOVE how you caught that bud opening in your photo! beautiful!
Your window boxes are very handsome, but I must say I fell in love with the chair planter! It's just so darn cute!
Barb your pictures are amazing! Love, love that bud. I just did a post about my pink Hibiscus also. Don't you love the big beautiful blooms? You will enjoy your Autumn Joy. I think it will look great under your boxes. Thanks so much for sharing with Share Your Cup!

I have been wanting to do a chair like this for years. I will get around to it one day, maybe.
Window boxes are on of my favorite things to see on a cottage. Yours are great.
