Needing some sunshine and color

With the grey skies and brown landscape, I am needing some sunshine and color in my life.  What better than a bright yellow sunflower with the sun shining on it.

Taken at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum last summer

Linking to Sunlit Sunday at My Little Home and Garden

Have a great weekend everyone.  Until next time.

Love the sunflower,
they are so pretty and have such sunny faces don't they!

Hope your weather improves,
we had a small flurry of snow last night so am hoping that it is finished now and that it will warm up later.

Enjoy your day Barb

Hello Barb
Now that's an abundance of sunshine! We have a few farmers in our area that grow acres of sunflowers and I could stand there all day watching them follow the sun with their faces.

Wouldn't it be great to have an enormous bouquet of sunflowers on the kitchen table right this minute?

I just bought several packets of Mammoth Sunflower seeds this weekend at Farm and Fleet! I'm jumping the gun in February, but I always get excited when the displays come out. andrea@townandprairie

Beautiful! I love to look through my pictures of my garden and have some color and sunshine! Even though it's been an easier winter than most I'm done with this white stuff and gray skies! Whenever the sun is out I smile inside and out!
