Christmas Tree with Hydrangeas

Honey over at 2805 is having a Christmas Bog Party featuring Christmas Trees and  I am joining in.

This one was taken during the day with the lights on.

This one was taken at night.

My living room is small so I used the tall skinny tree that I have.  I have several fresh artificial trees that I change off using each year.  I bought some new balls when I was at Bachman's.  They had the prettiest light green balls that I really loved and they were 50% off.  Other than that, I used what I had, mostly my dried hydrangeas, pine cones, a few faux berries, and a few other things.  Here are some closeups of the tree.

These were taken during the day with the lights off.

I like the ones at night with the lights on.  How about you?
One more look at night with the lights on

Please go over and check out all the beautiful trees with

Warm Christmas Wishes

Hi, Barb. I was in a shop on the weekend that had coppery tone hydrangeas in the branches, and now I see your lovely green ones in a tree. I had never thought of using them that way, but I really like the natural effect they give.

Hi Barb! I was scrolling through the thumbnails of trees at the party at 2805 (wish I had time to look at them all but I don't) and YOURS really caught my eye. I just love the way you have combined hydrangea and red berries on your tree. Your photography is great. I'm sure the tree looks great any time of day but I like the glow-y night-time look the best.

Your tree is so pretty ... I especially like the dried hydrangeas. Christmas trees are so hard to photograph, but you did a good job! Still... I bet it's even more beautiful in person.

Hi Barb, I love the green hydrangeas on your tree. I used dried ones I picked from my Limelight tree. They had dried to a natural color. I love them also. Yes, I love the lights on. It is so fun to just curl up with a quilt and enjoy the magic of a lit tree. Thanks for your sweet comment about my red dish post.

This green, tall and slim Christmas tree just pretty, rather than the true ones. Love the green lights on. Artificial is good for reuse just with new ideas every year. You're marvelous.

Barb, you have a lovely tree, I've never seen hydrangeas used in a Christmas tree before, such a unique idea!

That is gorgeous! Last year in our blue guest room I did a white tree with sea shells and blue hydrangea. It was almost as pretty as yours. :)
