Letting you know

that I am still alive on this planet. I never meant to be gone for over 3 months.  It was supposed to be 2 or 3 weeks so I could get my house cleaned and gardening done.  That didn't happen.  I guess I just lost all my enthusiasm for blogging.  I did write a post almost every day in my head but it didn't get into the computer.  I mostly read and went swimming, plus a few trips to Mayo Clinic in Rochester for doctor appointments.  Finally found a doctor willing to do the surgery to remove 3 cancerous nodules in my neck.  Had the surgery September 30th and all went well.  What a relief to get that over with.

We have been having some beautiful fall weather with warm temps and gorgeous trees.  Here are a couple of pictures of my back yard. Most of the leaves here are already on the ground

And some of the trees around town.

I hope you all had a great summer and are having a wonderful fall.  I promise not to be away for so long again and will get around to visiting you all soon,

Until next time
Barb

Beautiful trees, Barb. I am glad things went well at the Mayo clinic.

I have been in a blogging funk, too. Getting some camping in and working on my quilt projects.

Take care!

Glad surgery went well, Barb! I bet that is a HUGE relief.
One of our twin boys had surgery Weds.. (much more minor than yours) He's home recovering and will go back to school Monday. Thinking of you, and I've been struggling to find the time to get those posts out of my head and onto a computer, too.
Time is shortest for me in the fall. But it's been lovely. :)

So glad your surgery went well. I too have taken lots of time off but I'm anxious to get back into blog world. Love your autumn leaves. It will be December probably before our leaves peak with their color, but I will patiently await that day!

So nice to hear from you Barb. ''I see Beth is having treatments just completed some similar to yours.

She just wrote on her blog.

She is pretty sore her throat inside.

Your place looks beautiful with the Fall look so vibrant.
