Stay Sky Aware

That's been the words to live by this week as we have had a very rainy, stormy week in Minnesota.  Not so much where I live (other than the 5 inches last Sat) but many places have received 10 or 12 inches of rain or more. And there is flooding in many parts of the state.

One evening as the clouds were pulling away and the sun was setting it created a very orange sky and colorful clouds.

Photos are all SOOC

Last week I spent several days in the Black Hills of SD.  I have close to 200 photos that I will share here and there as I get them edited.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.
See you next time.

Barb

By the way, the consensus of the old car in the last post is a Chevy Corvair.  I think you are right.

Beautiful photos, Barb! There really has been a lot of rain...and mosquitos. I am hoping our dock hasn't floated away in Fairmont...the water is so high.

Gorgeous sky shots! Glad you've avoided the worst of the rain storms. We are finally getting some heavy rain after being very dry this spring. There's a little flooding in some low-lying areas, but we really needed a soaking rain to knock out the forest fire danger, always a threat for us in the spring.

What an amazing sky! Must have been breath-taking to see in person!

I've heard a bit about some of the flooding going on there. I sure feel for those folks.

Strange weather we've had all over the country this year.

Have a good weekend.

Great orange sky, and we have had the rain, rain, rain here too. So muddy can't even work in the garden and don't ask me about the dog's paws...ugh!!

Your weather made for some interesting sky shots, but that sounds like an awful lot of rain, Barb. I'm glad you managed to avoid any flooding.
