A Bit of Randomness

Friday is the day over at Nancy's for Random 5 Friday, where you can add 5 random facts about you, your day, your kids, your pets, or whatever.

Last Saturday my daughter, her boy friend and my grandson came to help get a few chores done around here.  Here are the 5 biggest ones accomplished..

1.  New storm door on my kitchen door.

2.  Replaced the rotting wood around the garage door with vinal.

3.  Added window well covers to the basement windows.

4.  Put away my lawn furniture.

5.  Cleaned out the gutters.

A few other things  got done but those were the things I really wanted to get done before  winter.

Linking to Random 5 Friday

Earlier I told you I had been to the Bachman Idea House in Minneapolis and promised to show pictures.  Well I have not gotten around to editing them but you can see Linda's pictures over at Itsy Bits and Pieces.
There is so much to see there and Linda always manages to see things that I don't.

Thanks for stopping.  Have a great weekend!
See you next time.
Barb

Isn't that always the way? We are wonderfully unique. What a lot of very good things accomplished! Sounds as if you had a terrific team. Well covers for the basement windows...I should investigate that for my own home.

I read about what was done and I immediately felt guilty. I have to do so many things before winter will come. And I didn't do anything that I planned.

I love very much this autumn picture! It's beautiful and dreamy!

Your blog is the second I've read this afternoon that talked about putting things away for winter. I guess I'm behind but I'm really waiting for a couple of weeks of lovely fall weather. :)
It's nice you got the chores out of the way.

You did good by getting a lot of things done before winter sets in.
We need to put away our lawn furniture pretty soon, and get wood for winter, which is a huge job to do.

Yep, time to get things ready for winter. Glad you had some assistance. I'm heading back to MN tomorrow. Debating whether or not to bring my coat. :-) I am not ready for colder temps yet.

Oh you inspire me! There are still so many things I'd like to get done before the snow flies.

I'm going to get to work on that list today :)
