Snowy Sunday

It was snowing heavily this morning so I just had to take a few pictures.  It sure has whitened up the dirty landscape.

My backyard next to the garage

Neighbor's trees

Kids enjoying the snow

Temperature is about 30 degrees

It has quit snowing now and the birds sparrows have come out to eat.

It wasn't much of a snow storm compared to Nemo but they have named it Orko.  They are getting much more snow north of here.  But they have a blizzard warning out here because the winds are supposed to pick up.  We get a lot of wind here in western Minnesota.

I hope all the people in the North East are getting their power back and getting dug out from their snow storm.

Thanks for stopping!  I hope you are having a sunny Sunday!
Until next time.

Barb

Hi Barb. I enjoyed your snowy Sunday photos. It looks very pretty with the snow gently falling. It's a beautiful sunny day here in northern Alberta and we're going for a walk this afternoon in the woods. Enjoy the afternoon. Blessings, Pam

I've been watching The Weather Channel, keeping an eye, 1st on Nemo, then on Orko... we had some thunderstorms roll thru this morning from the southern part of Orko.

Lots of snow falling there, i just love to watch falling snow... too bad we don't get more =0

That really is a wintry scene, Barb! After all of the snow here, there is the expectation of a big melt in the next day or so. It's hard to tell what the weather will be like from one day to the next!

We've been following the snow storm with interest, having parents, children and friends in the east. Out here it's just another grey day.
I love the shot of the children in the snow flakes!

I wondered how much you were fairing with the storm. We are definitely getting it up north! I am glad I don't have to go anywhere today.

Great snowy photos, Barb. We were lucky, only about a foot or so of snow this time. I'm ready for spring!

Lovely winter scenes, Barb, like little postcards! So nice of you to feed the little birds, too. Hope you don't get hit too hard with that nasty wind. Bundle up and keep warm! xx
