Abandoned Farm Place

On my back roads tour last week I found this abandoned farm place.  Once upon a time I'm sure it was a well loved place.  Oh, the stories it could tell.  I really hate seeing this places going to ruin, but they do provide great photo ops.

I'm linking these to Rural Thursday Blog Hop #43
Hop on over to see all things rural

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!
See you next time

It may well be beyond rescue, but what a life it once had!

...I always wonder who lived in run down places. It was "home" to someone....

It seems all the blogs I visit, everybody is showing abandoned barns etc. Isn't it sad? I would love to fix one up and live there!

The straw in the window is an interesting photo. I love seeing your bright sun. It has been so dark, cloudy, and gloomy here for days I fear I shall be on an antidepressant by Christmas. xo, olive

Excellent pictures. I wishe I was a wee birdie on your shoulder and could see in life. As you walk and take.

It's obviously been abandoned for a while judging by the overgrowth. It makes me wonder just how old that place is. Gorgeous photos!

Beautiful shots but I'm with you on this; I hate seeing places just left to rot away.

One can't help but wonder what happened to the folks who once made this their home.

Oh I know what you mean about the photo ops...we have an abundance of these old run-down, neglected places around here too. You certainly grabbed some great shots of your "photo-op".

Can't you just imagine the stories that could be told about a home that old? My imagination goes wild!

These are really beautiful pictures. I like to think that places like these are filled with treasures. But it is a shame that someone couldn't take care of it or pass it to someone in their family.

I know what you mean. I can wonder about the lives lived in these homes and hope they were happy ones. I hope all is well with you too.
