I'm Back!

After a month and a half of no posts, I'm back.  The middle of April I felt a lump in my neck.  It was in the same place that I had thyroid cancer 7 years ago and it scared me.  I went to the doctor and she had an ultra sound taken that was suspicious.  So then I had a biopsy and sure enough it was thyroid cancer returned.  So for the next month it was doctor appointments, CT scan and finally surgery.  The surgery went well and I am getting along well, although not able to do as much as I would like.
Even though I haven't done any posting it doesn't mean that I haven't been reading your posts.  I have also been going to garage sales, antique stores and thrift stores picking up goodies to be re-purposed.  I have also been taking pictures that I need to get downloaded to my computer so that I can post about them.  I will do that as my energy level allows.
It is good to be back!

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this, Barb! I am glad the surgery went well and hope you will feel good again soon! The trip to the Bachman's house might be some fun therapy! Sending good thoughts your way! XO

I hope you are doing well now! It's good that you found it and had it checked out right away. I hope the junkin' in Minnesota has been good! :)

Barb, when I find a new blog I like I always go back and read the first few post. That way I get a feel for what the bloggers aims and golds were for their new venture. It gives me something to compare to the current post so I can see how the blog has developed, changed or grown over time. I just got around to doing that with your blog.

I was sadden to read about your problem with thyroid cancer and the reoccurrence. I do hope that all is well with you now.

I had a lump in my neck that kept growing and my doctor kept ignoring despite my repeated complaints. After almost a year I got a second opinion and found out I had lymphoma. I spent all of last winter undergoing chemo.

I do understand what you have gone through and will pray for your continued recovery and future good health.
