Looking Glass

My Holiday Copy Cat is taken from the December issue of Better Homes and Gardens on page 92 called Looking Glass.

I didn't have the big bowl to do the arrangement in so I used a glass cake plate and cover.

I had the bird, the balls, the fake snow, the greens are from my yard, and I had just purchased the nest when I was at Bachmans.
I changed it up a little by adding the balls around the cake plate.  It was quick and easy and I think it turned out great.

And there you have a quick, easy Christmas Decoration for no money.
I'll be sharing this at DebbieDoos Holiday Copy Cat.

All next week I will be partying with these gals at the Christmas Blogger Block Party.

I hope you will check them out!
Merry Christmas
Barb

I'm a little behind with my decorating-just finished the tree! I better hurry, so I can join the blog party fun!
Have a good week. Oh about that olive oil-I saw a selection at Home Goods and they may have some at Marshall's too!

Your inspiration was so pretty and you did a great job with your copy cat. It's amazing how everything looks so pretty under glass. That was a great idea using the cake plate and cover as a substitute. Thanks for visiting and following I'm following you as well.

Hi, Barb and Dell,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. How nice that you two cousins can share and do so many things togethers. You did a wonderful job recreating the snowbird scene.

Barb, Nice use of available materials. I like that you used your cake plate to "make it your own". Cute bird, too.
